Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A jet transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday after a crack was found in the plane's windshield, per an official announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.

"The aircraft landed in accordance with standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to Brussels at the time.

This occurrence is not the first time that a American defense plane transporting a high-ranking official has encountered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was required to head back to the US capital after suffering a technical issue.
