Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance
This young athlete boasts considerable social media following
Kai Trump can count on numerous well-known supporters as she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.
The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses multiple golf courses and often plays against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she stated.
She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He practically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Vanessa.
"He is the best player in the world," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's an even better person. He told me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge several top competitors in professional golf at this tournament, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that her participation brings the sport to different demographics, particularly among the next generation.
The young star maintains a massive following and just introduced a personal fashion and living label.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
